Yup, it’s that time of year again, where the turkey and mustaches are in abundance. Movember is a month long campaign where men all around the world grow mustaches to raise awareness for important men’s health issues.

On average, men die an average of six years earlier than women, Movember aims to combat these issues through fundraising, awareness, and research into the various causes.  According to Movember, both testicular and prostate cancer rates are on the rise.  Additionally, men account for a disproportionate 75% of suicides.

“Our fathers, partners, brothers and friends are facing this health crisis and it’s not being talked about.  We can’t afford to stay silent,” (Movember, Our Cause). The Movember Foundation aims to reduce the number of men dying prematurely by 25% by the year 2030.
