Uniform Advantage is Honored to Continue Partnership with Living Beyond Breast Cancer
Even though Breast Cancer Awareness Month is coming to a close, we want to continue to contribute to this meaningful cause all year long. Our fantastic partnership with Living Beyond Breast Cancer (LBBC) allows us to do that.
Uniform Advantage released a “Support Blooms White,” print this past spring and this fall we released two Pink Ribbon Prints: “Pink Courage Pink,” and “Painted Pink Ribbons Black.” For each of these items sold, we will donate $1 to LBBC. This fall alone, we have raised more than $5,000 towards the Living Beyond Breast Cancer organization.
We have five additional scrubs that will donate a portion of the sales to LBBC, including two different scrub prints, one scrub jacket, a tote bag, and surgical hat. The scrub tops come in different cuts and styles.
Although this is only our second year partnering with this wonderful nonprofit organization, we are proud to announce that we have helped raise more than $14,500 in donations to help LBBC support and fight breast cancer.
Founded in 1991, Living Beyond Breast Cancer started in Philadelphia by a small group of women led by Dr. Marisa Weiss, who were seeking information that would help them after completing treatment for breast cancer. At the time, the resources were inadequate and limited; LBBC was created so women in similar situations could connect and help one another in a caring environment.
LBBC addresses the current needs of people affected by breast cancer, whether they are newly diagnosed, in treatment, recovery or living with a history of or managing a metastatic form of the disease. Resources are developed in collaboration with the nation’s leading oncologists, health professionals, and ally organizations. Here at UA, we feel honored to contribute and work with such an exceptional organization who strives to help anyone who has been affected by breast cancer.
