Uniform Advantage Partners with the I Care I Cure Childhood Cancer Foundation
The month of September is childhood cancer awareness month. In the United States, over 15,780 children under 21 are diagnosed with cancer every year. To help raise awareness and support the fight against childhood cancer, Uniform Advantage began a partnership with I Care, I Cure Childhood Cancer Foundation back in 2012.
I Care, I Cure is a local South Florida organization that was founded by a family, Beth and Brad Besner, in honor of their son Ian who lost the battle to T-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL). After their devastating loss, the Besners established I Care, I Cure to support the development of and raise awareness about targeted therapies to fight childhood cancer that would be more gentle and tolerable for children to endure.
Being a uniforms and medical scrubs supplier in the healthcare industry, Uniform Advantage understands the importance and growing need for gentler treatments to this life-altering disease. UA has designed a new yellow ribbon pattern in support of spreading awareness of childhood cancer and will donate $1 from the sale of each “Golden Children White” scrub top and jacket to I Care, I Cure to aid in their support of finding new and advanced treatments.
