Show Your Support for the Animals

Animals can serve as excellent companions, providing us with pure, unconditional love. They’re family, and like family, we all want to make sure they’re safe and cared for. June is National Pet Preparedness Month, a time to learn how to help keep your pets safe in the event of a natural disaster and how to cope with the aftermath. The American Humane Association has provided a list of items you’d need to prepare a kit for your pets in times of an emergency:

  1. Food (your pet’s regular food)
  2. Water
  3. Leash and collar
  4. Bowl(s)
  5. Photo of your pet/ID and a photo of you with your pet
  6. Medications your pet needs
  7. Immunization/vet records (keep both updated)
  8. Pet carrier
  9. First Aid Kit
  10. Contact list of pet-friendly hotels, veterinarians, American Red Cross, American Humane Association and out-of-town friends/family

We hope this will help. In addition, the week of June 17th to June 23rd is Animal Rights Awareness Week! Show your support for animal rights and the continued safety of our pets with Uniform Advantage’s new animal print scrubs!
