Nurses are the underlying tempo of the healthcare system and contribute to the innate rhythm that flows through it. They are the first ones you see before the doctor attends to you, and they make you feel comfortable from the time they greet you with “Good Morning” or “Good Afternoon.”

Nursing is a “by the people, for the people” profession. It encompasses matters of the body, heart and soul. Like a domino effect, they add their special touches and spread their compassion throughout the entire facility. What is beautiful about the nursing profession is that it is universal and nurses can transfer their skills and add value anywhere in the world!

Whether these nurses work in ambulatory, cardiac care, correctional facilities, forensics, pediatrics, geriatrics, or traveling around the world, these men and women have an impact on their respective corners of the world, and are all here to help us be stronger and wiser. Our health is truly our wealth!

Have you ever thought of the environment they work in? It is fast paced, dynamic, team oriented, emotional and very physical. In addition to being able to cope with a physically demanding work environment, nurses have the brains too! Nurses are smart, organized, proactive, reactive, and are great collaborators and drivers of change!
