How to deal with people. You must be compasionnate and caring for all types of personalities. Helping others and always have a smile!
You have to be calm and understanding no matter what. Compassion is key. Some people can be difficult but normally they’re just in pain and want it to go away.
I love it!
Work as a team, embrace cultural diversity and be able to put patient safety first.
What is the most important thing you learned in dental school? How to change people’s perceptions and fear of dental treatment.
What I learned in nsg school is we will never stop learning!! And it’s ok to ask!!!
Ethics is one of those subjects that feels like a drag to learn about and in all honesty is not taken into consideration until you’ve gotten out there first hand and dealt with patients. Some people are plainly hard to deal with but no matter how badly one may want to give up on them it all come back to what is ethically and morally correct for the patient. Our job is to attend to them as best we can to keep their health in good shape and make them feel comfortable with their care. We have to remember that they are the ones that are seeking help and when they lash out it’s only because they are usually scared and simply want to be heard. So when a patient gets you frustrated just kill em with a smile 😉
The most important thing I learned in nursing school is how to care for all different sorts of people from different cultures, backgrounds, and walks of life. People are individuals and deserved individualized care that caters to their specific needs. It is our job as nurses to make sure that our patients are not only cared for, but understood as well.
You should not have to have a facebook to be able to access to opportunities or contest
I am not a nurse but a dietitian in critical care but the most important thing I learned was how nutrition is integral in critical care in outcomes.
Treat the person, not just the disease.
All nurses are not created equal. Sometimes the smallest of gestures can create a lasting impression. Nursing isn’t just about caring…you can care and not do anything. Nursing is about doing. Do the right thing always. Treat each other with competence, compassion and yes caring to include all patients, physicians, support staff and more importantly each other.
The most important thing I learned in nursing school was that each patient is a learning opportunity. You get to learn so much from each patient about their deases, culture, life experiences. Love my job!
Love love your scrubs have been recommending them and sharing the catalogs enjoy every minute of your life

I’m a Certified Nursing Assistant and a Registered Medication Aide, and what I learned most in nursing school is that you have to love what you do. You have to possess sympathy, compassion, and you must respect the patients you care for and give them dignity. I learned to always come to work in a professional manner with a positive attitude.
The most important thing I learned in nursing school is to never lose my reason for becoming a nurse. To not allow the stress of the job to let me forget my compassion and love for my fellow human beings.
