October kicks off National Breast Cancer Awareness month, and here at UA we are doing our part! Did you know that current statistics show about 1 in 8 women in the U.S. will develop breast cancer over the course of her lifetime!?  We wanted to get our customers involved in the fight as well, which is why we’re launching the Paint Your Facebook Page Pink campaign.

How do you do this? It’s easy!

UA will be donating $1 to Making Strides Against Breast Cancer for every new UA Facebook fan page “Like” we get in the month of October, so spread the word!  Be sure to “Share” our post on your Facebook wall and tell friends, co-workers, and family, the ability to donate $1 to fundraise against breast cancer couldn’t be easier and is right at their fingertips!

That’s not all…on Saturday, October 13; the UA team will be participating in the American Cancer Society’s “Making Strides Against Breast Cancer” walk in Fort Lauderdale, FL.  This is our 4^th year walking in the event, and we are hoping to have a great turnout!   So far we have raised $1,275, which is 25% of our goal of $5,000 that UA will MATCH!  If you’re local and would like to join our team, or you would like to donate through Team UA for the American Cancer Society, you can do so on our Uniform Advantage Team Page.
