Honoring Memorial Day
On the last Monday in May, people all across the country gather together to honor U.S. soldiers who have died while in military service. Known as Memorial Day, this US federal holiday began as a day of remembrance after the Civil War. But over time, Memorial Day has evolved and become more of an occasion for Americans to express their appreciation and memory to those who have died in all wars.
People observe Memorial Day in various fashions. Some visit memorials or cemeteries, while others get together with family for a long weekend of beach activities, barbeques and fireworks. Some people decorate their lawns, while others dress up in red, white and blue attire. At Uniform Advantage, we may not be able to supply you with American flags to line your driveway, but we do have scrubs in red, white and blue that you can wear to showcase your American pride!
So, on this day of remembrance, let’s honor those who have died for our Country. And if you’re at work this coming Monday (May 30th), we think a pair of scrubs in red, white and blue will be perfectly appropriate! Here are a couple suggestions…
