Style and Solid Colored Scrubs

Can’t wear print scrubs to work? Solid colored scrubs only? Think your options are limited? Think again! You can still have a different look to wear to work by combining different solid styles of medical scrubs.

You can easily jazz up you solid scrubs work wardrobe and go from an ordinary two pocket top to a stylish mock wrap top or from a basic tapered scrub pant to a flare pant.  Solid colored options are limitless now that uniform companies like Uniform Advantage are branching out to more fashion-inspired scrubs.  Even basic and traditional brands like Cherokee Scrubs have more options than ever before.

There’s something about Mary…

Mary Engelbreit’s love for art and design began when she was just 11 years old.  Living in St. Louis, Missouri at the time, Mary used to sit in the linen closet of her home drawing for hours on end dreaming of becoming an artist. When she was younger, Mary was often discouraged about becoming an artist, but she never let that get her down saying “I believed in myself and now I’m living my dream.”  Good thing she did because she has inspired and will continue to inspire others with her beautiful designs.

To many of us, Mary Engelbreit is synonymous with friendly, playful and inviting illustrations decorating everything from calendars to children’s books and greeting cards to gifts and home accessories. As of late, she has taken her design style of “spirited wit and nostalgic warmth” and made a {delicate} footprint in the medical scrubs industry. There’s just something about Mary we all love, so we had to bring her designs into the UA family of brands! This fall, we have introduced the new line of Mary Engelbreit Scrubs hoping to enchant medical professionals and their patients from all over with her positive and effervescent style.

How UA is Ringing in the Wedding Bells

 At 11 am this morning in England (3 am PST/6 am EST if you happen to be up that early), Prince William and Kate arrived at Westminster Abbey for their nuptials.  So while most of us were still sleeping, crowds across the Atlantic were cheering for the newlyweds outside of Westminster Abbey.  While we couldn’t be in England for the ringing in the wedding bells, we thought it only appropriate we celebrate with some “ringing” of our own…wearing scrubs with lots of rings, of course!

“Royal” Engagement to UA Scrubs

Today we are one month away from Kate Middleton’s and Prince William’s Royal Wedding (April 29th is the big day…not like I’ve been counting or anything)!  On the heels of what will be one of the most talked about weddings of the century, was one of the most talked about engagements of the century…the Royal Engagement of course.  And in the spirit of “royal”ty, “royal” engagements, “royal” outfits, and “royal” engagement rings we are celebrating our “royal” scrubs! 

First, I’d like to present you with a beautiful duo of engagement photographs.  On the left is a photograph of Prince Charles along with the late Diana dressed in royal blue and wearing her dazzling royal engagement ring.  Then, on the right, we have Kate Middleton arm and arm with Prince William.  She is also wearing a royal blue outfit with her new royal engagement ring!  Noticing a trend here?  Not sure if both Diana and Kate wore royal in light of a “royal” engagement, but if the ring fits…

So of course, these photos and the excitement of the Royal Wedding presented itself with too good of an opportunity to pass up sharing this royal blue color trend.  Like Diana and Kate, you can also sport royal blue in our solid and print scrubs!

UA Scrubs are “OWN”-ing It!

Last Thursday, February 23rd, the Oprah Winfrey Show aired an exclusive interview between Oprah herself and David Arquette on Oprah’s “OWN” Network.  Aside from the riveting details revealed in the interview, there was something else we noticed during the interview.  It was none other than Oprah’s wardrobe!  Check out the photo below…does her top look familiar?

Is it just me or is she wearing a bow-front top!  Reminds me a little bit of our hot new style for Spring that is available in both prints and solids:
